Cycles: Period & Cycle Tracker 9+

Had this app a few years and find it really helpful to see roughly where I am on my cycle.
Love that you can edit the length of days for your cycle etc and make notes on specific days.
The only thing that isn’t so helpful and I would love to see changed, is how previous dates that have already passed are automatically changed if you amend current or future predictions on the calendar. For example, if I think I’m ovulating I’ll check the cycle ‘wheel’ to check it lines up with the prediction of what day that’s due to happen so that the day I start my period is also likely to be accurate. However, in changing that wheel it moves the Previous date(s) of when my period started last month(s), making it impossible to keep a log of how long Each cycle is on the app’s calendar. So I keep a separate notes list of dates for this.
It doesn’t make sense for previous dates to be moved automatically.
Is there a way around this?

I’ve been using this app for many, many years.
The only problem I had with it was when I once changed the phone and I lost all of my data, even though I logged in with the same account. It was impossible to recover it. That was years ago though and I believe this doesn’t happen anymore.

The reason I’m giving 4 stars not 5 is because the app doesn’t allow me to adjust my ovulation day. I understand that most women don’t feel it and don’t know when this day occurs but I do, and it’s never when the app assumes when it should be.

Also, when sometimes my period is irregular, the app automatically adjusts the “average” length of cycle, which is also inaccurate. I’m happy it does it but not happy that I can’t correct its assumption.

Shortly put, I would prefer to have more control over the adjustments that now take place automatically.

Other than that, l love it. I’ve tried many apps before I decided on this one. It’s simple, plain, easy - please don’t over-improve it.

You can adjust your predicted ovulation day in Averages, under Settings in the app.

For irregular cycles, we recommend excluding them from your predictions by tapping on your Cycle in the Me tab, then tapping 'Exclude' at the bottom left.

I used to love this app, I used it for years and found it great for estimating dates for fertility treatments, really handy and easy to use. In the time I was pregnant the layout and functionality has changed, it’s now clunky and difficult. As my cycle has been disrupted from pregnancy and breastfeeding it has decided I have a 58 day cycle, despite my last cycle now being back to around 30 days. As a result when I check the app (used to let me see at a glance where I am in my cycle) it now tells me I’m not due for another 38 days despite only started my last period 2 weeks ago. There’s no way to change this - unless, maybe I pay for it, which I’m unlikely to do with how clunky it’s become. Really disappointing.
