Ratings and Reviews
Utterly amazing
There isn’t enough I can say about this game. This is honestly the most amazing thing I have ever played. This puzzle game tests your abilities, while also providing a deep and immersive storyline. The developers are doing something utterly captivating in their games, and providing puzzles that are actually difficult but fun and adventurous to complete. It’s a perfect mix between brain teasers, and an unsettling storyline. The imagery and themes portrayed are strong, but feed in perfectly to the gameplay. I would play this game a million times over if I could. I don’t think I’ve ever cried at a puzzle game apart from tears of anger, but words can’t even describe how immersed and captivated I was in the story while also being kept busy figuring out the puzzles. Dale’s story is truly remarkable, and portrays perfectly what it’s like to have trauma from past memories, and what it’s like coming to terms with those. This games shows that in a way like no other, and makes it easy to understand and digest. I will forever love this game ❤️
Always 5*
Games that are weird and excellent in equal measure! Gameplay is always just at the right level i.e. not to easy and not too difficult.
If you like point and click games, you will struggle to find the better.
As an addendum, I purchased chapter 2 and found this much more difficult. For example, the mantle clock puzzle was just beyond me and still this even though I watched the video to get the answer. I also didn’t like the magnifying glass puzzle, because some of the things were invisible mess you around the magnifying glass over them. This completely threw me and wasted a good couple of hours of my time. Confusingly, some of the other things we are just about visible without the magnifying glass and that is much more logical. Still, a great game by anybody standards.
Absolutely fabtastic!
As always they never fail to impress and amuse! There are very few games I’m wowed by these days. I go through the motions, point click, yawn, etc. And at best it’s usually the graphics that have appealed to me. And very rarely do I follow through with a purchase.
But with RL and their cube series...........They could sign me up for DD I love them so much!! The simplicity is brilliant. You may only have the 1 room, but the amount of detail and puzzles they put into that room will keep you going for hours (Depending on your ability 🤪 logic process!)
I highly HIGHLY recommend you try this and all their games, you won’t regret it. The only downside is the waiting for their next one! But then it gives you chance to start from the 1st game again ⬛️
