You can choose from 11 Countdown styles (we are already working on more) and make them your own by adding your personal touch:
- Change background colors.
- Use photos from your phone Photo Library or from our preset gallery.
- Choose from a curated list of fonts that go well with each specific style.
- Each Widget you make will automatically be available in small or medium sizes.
- Change the design anytime later.

The countdown app I’ve always wanted
I never leave reviews, but this app just deserves it!
I believe I’ve had countdown buddy for almost a year or little over - and it’s exactly what I’ve wanted since I was 12 years old. I used to have an old countdown app that eventually went to a subscription based model and stopped working a few iOSes ago. Then I had nothing - a pain for my forgetful ADHD brain.
But I randomly came across this on the App Store whilst looking, when widgets first came out. Whilst I was comparing a few, the gorgeous and simple UI drew me to this one - as well as the one time price to access pro and then gain the widgets on my home screen. With how versatile this app was, I was more than happy to pay a one time price to gain widgets!
I have shared this app with all my friends (after they noticed my ‘payday’ countdown 😂) where they have downloaded it too. Honestly, this app is a life saver for me remembering things that are coming up - and I definitely need it visually - so being able to change the designs is amazing too!
I hope the app continues to grow and develop - and I’m excited to see what other apps the developers come up with, as clearly they know what people want - or at least me ahahaha
Perfect
I did have a problem with the app when I got it because I couldn't get more than one widget on my Home screen. So after my first review of this app which I only have 2 stars the support team got in touch and helped me out and now all is OK.
I would say this app is a very good price for what you get. It works perfect for me now and also the support is great.
Wonderful app
Very good clean interface.
The ‘punched card’ design widget showing the full 2875 days remaining until my retirement is a thing of beauty.
I can clearly see each loathsome day represented as a single dot. The curse of work now reduced to a small and finite rectangular object, chipped away at daily.
