V.4 broke my Detail View section.
Firstly I’ve been an early supporter since you released the app a couple years ago now and have/still love it and your periodic updates are great. It is one of my top used read-later/save-for-later apps and it just works brilliant, so thank you for it and everything you are doing.
Now with the newest v.4 update it has broken the detail view and chapter selection when viewing saved articles etc.
I’ve sent support an email with an attached screen recording to show you the issue.
I’m using 16 Pro Max with RC iOS 18.2.1 newest general release updated software.
On my 15 Pro max using the previous version of Couch then everything is ok and works perfectly.
I’ve uninstalled and reinstalled on my 16 but to no avail.
Please can you look into this and update Couch to fix this.

A great start
Given that Pocket totally wrecked its apps with version 7 last year, I’ll support anyone making an effort to improve the Pocket experience, so I bought the pro and hope it has a bright future! This feels much nicer to use; it parses the articles in a more readable way, with plenty of options, and a nice customisable homescreen. The ‘videos’ panel is a really nice touch.
One of the main things I’d love to see is pagination; reading articles like a book/magazine just helps immersion, not feeling like you’re not doomscrolling on a phone! I’d love to see a page turn option. Also a few more typefaces, more subtle link display options (beyond black and white mode, maybe just bold no underline), an index by website, and a big ‘random’ button (widget?) would be great additions. Hope some of these make it into future versions.

Not functioning
I downloaded and it worked ok so paid for the premium version and now it won’t work at all. Not syncing at all, nothing saves and it isn’t communicating with Pocket. Have requested a refund.

Your issues have nothing to do with Couch Pro. Pocket has changed their API and it seems they have had some server issues over the past few days as well.
Unfortunately, the API change is affecting Couch and libraries are not able to sync properly. An update that fixes this is on the way.
