I have been playing this game for about 4 years have managed to purchase all restaurants and upgrade them about 60% of the way, you don’t need to upgrade fully in order to get full stars, without having to pay real money. There’s always offers to upgrade restaurants ie food, utensils, decor, auto chefs etc....during trial of style tournaments as a one time offer. These items can also be purchased with gold bars and silver coins accumulated during daily tasks, by completing a level with 3 stars, spinning the lucky wheel, watching videos or doing tasks such as surveys. There’s plenty of opportunities to earn gold. But be prepared to spend a lot of gold too! What I like about this game and it’s the reason I keep playing, not only is it entertaining, I never felt pressured to purchase anything using real money. Yes the items can cost you a lot of gold but if you save up every time you play, you will have enough to buy a few items at a time. The option is there to purchase with real money for those who can’t wait and need to upgrade instantly but you don’t have to in order to progress, I’m proof of it! Thank you to the makers of this game to constantly adding new trials of styles and keeping the game interesting. Even though I play other new games online from time to time, I always end up going back to playing Cooking Dash. There’s always something to do and it’s all for free.
Addictive and engaging
Very addictive and engaging. Will have you going for hours as will always want to try and beat the next level to challenge yourself. Classic time management and efficiency game. You can always find ways to improve your game play style to get better at it each time. Perfect if you bored and wondering what to do. Great for passing the time on the bus or train and long journeys etc. The only thing is prolonged periods of time will require immense concentration to multitask more and more as you progress thru more difficult levels so hurt my head after a while. Needed a break to come back to it. Ive played this game for over a year now and still never got bored as there is always new content to enrich the gaming experience and try new levels and new venues and recipes etc. Love it love it! So frustrating.
I’ve played this game for quite a long time now and honestly it’s gotten progressively worse. For starters as the game has been “updated” more and more adverts have appeared, making it virtually impossible to play the game. Everything you do is interrupted by ads and now daily challenges to win gold are also geared to watching ads ie “watch 7 free gold ads”. Each ad then automatically tries to drag you to the App Store to download a new game which is totally invasive and causes the game to glitch when you return to the platform. Secondly the game itself has developed a glitch wherein you will be 30/40 seconds into playing an episode and it will kick you back out to the location selection screen. Coincidently this will only occur when you have added on a VIP, which you have either had to purchase or waited up to 48 hours to prepared, this causing you to lose the VIP and anything you had earned in that 40 seconds. I contacted the app support and development team about this issue and had no acknowledgement or response. The game used to be so simple, but now added elements like outfits, pets, and lucky wheels are making it overly complex and far less enjoyable. A year ago I would have given this app 4 stars, but now I wish I could give it no stars. So frustrated. Don’t waste your time with this game.
