Doesn’t work

Saw these robotic cleaners, and heard good things about them. Bought one and got it home.
Eventually managed to pair the device, and as instructed set the machine to Eco, and let the machine clean the whole house, to create a map. It did this all well and good.
Went to use the cleaner again but I wanted to set it to a higher setting than Eco because it wasn’t picking up properly.
Went to turn it on.... Nothing, noticed the App said ‘offline. I tapped the connect icon, it said connecting.... offline. I tried restarting my devices, ensuring wi fi and device was listed. Press the clean icon .... Nothing. Device offline. Try the connect icon.... connecting .... offline. Everything I tried it just doesn’t work!!!
I purchased a small dusting robot for about 20 Euros. This device was well over 10 times as much. Because I can only adjust the power via the app, and the app doesn’t work I have a product that basically does the same as the duster!!! This is when used manually, and actually not as well! I am stuck with this expensive thing, because I can’t return it, because it’s mechanically sound.
Because the app doesn’t work it is an expensive useless piece of rubbish.

Hi, I recommend you do a hard reset of the robot:
Separate the robot from the charging base.
Turn off the Conga.
Turn on the Conga.
Once the button light is steady, press the Home button until the Conga beeps.
Press the Home button until the Conga speaks.

Disfunctional app makes the product useless

The device itself is quite capable, but it is very seriously let down by the app, which is simply disfunctional. It’s impossible to define spaces or to define times for cleaning routines - the supposed functionality in the app just doesn’t work. Despite the app being a major selling point, CECOTEC appear deaf and blind to the negative feedback. Overall a waste of money, you might as well buy a much cheaper but dumb on/off device, and I’ll be checking more carefully for customer feedback before deciding which competing product to buy instead.

The most useless app ever

Every time I want to use the robot the app doesn’t pair. Every time, I try 10 different things: log off and log in in the app, turn off and turn on the robot, connecting and configuring again the robot from scratch, etc. Most of the times nothing works until one day magically one of these solutions work. This app is so useless that it makes a great machine like this robot useless as well. If you value your time and money don’t buy this.
