Really useful app and great support.

I’m never usually one to write a review but. I’ve been using the app for about a month now and I’ve got to say it’s one of the best anti-procrastination apps I’ve used. It only gives me a certain amount of app uses a day so I can actually keep a schedule and not just over indulge on apps that I used to spend hours mindlessly scrolling on.

There was a bit of a glitch with the app, but after submitting some feedback the founder replied and now it’s fixed. I would really recommend this if you’re struggling to keep on top of your social media addictions

Brilliant

This has reduced my phone usage a lot, I love the breathing prompts, and the option to rethink whether to open the app or not. This format works much better than iPhone’s ‘Screen Time’ in my opinion and I’ve kept it up for weeks now!

Overall the app is great, nice and simple and works well. I like the option to include your own quotes too.

There are a few things I wish were different: I use the app for my business, and often find that 10 minutes as the maximum time isn’t long enough when I’m posting / sharing work etc. I end up getting kicked off, then re-entering the app all over again to complete what I was doing. I can understand 10 mins being enough if you’re just using Instagram for personal use, but I think 15 mins would be much better for those of us who use it for work.
Unfortunately the past week I’ve found myself choosing the ‘take a break for half an hour’ option to get around this.

Also, I’d love to see a countdown timer so you have a much better idea of how long you have left, and can avoid getting kicked off halfway through writing/sharing something etc!

Made a huge dent in my screen time

The only app that’s made a meaningful difference to my screen time stats. I now use WhatsApp more purposefully instead of getting drawn in to long time-sapping discussions. My screen time is down 60% after a week of using this app, and I don’t just find ways to circumvent it like I have with blocking apps.
