Nice clean app but…
I really want to use this app more but I just can’t clearly see the active notes, the pastel blue on white background is really faint.

Thanks for your feedback! In the latest version of Chops we've added several new highlighting options, including a new default style that draws a box around the active note.
You can choose from 5 styles in the 'Notation Highlighting' settings.
