Agreeing with the other review, the app is great but the content posted should be more monitored.
It feels almost like cheating when they repost many photos they already had!
Along with how many they can post a day, with no limit its like 'begging' for cheerz.
Needs more translation
I think the concept behind the app is great, especially as I also watch Tokyo Girl's Update on NHK World, but it just lacks so much if you don't speak Japanese. It ends up being a simple "Vote for the pretty girl" app, which is a shame because it could be so much more.
If the app gave us more information in English, and added the ability to save pictures to the phone, it would be perfect. I use the app daily, but I would love to do more than just press the Cheer button, I'd like to know more about who I'm Cheer-ing for.
I think the in-app purchases are way over priced considering the app is basically an advertising platform. I mean £60 for a big bunch of button presses??? I also think there should be a limit on how many updates an idol can post in 24 hours, because some idols just seem to spam the same kind of picture numerous times a day. It needs to actively balance exposure, to give all idols a fair chance of being seen.
