Worst app ever

This app is good when it works but is always offline as a new member trialling this I am apprehensive as too whether to continue to pay for direct leads as I decided to email a customer back off my own email to be told she had not received my original email through the Checkatrade link which does not put my company in a good light for responding through I am always happy to pay for any service provided but the problem with me is I expect 100 % they also removed by contact number so when customers called they were told to revisit Checkatrade and choose another trader 😡again it’s a good job I am on the ball otherwise how long would this have gone on for

Hopeless

Recent “improvements” have made this app almost unsustainable. I do not have time to keep switching between “job details” and “chat” when responding to jobs. I don’t need a chat notification and a new job notification when both say the same thing. If I accept/decline a job on one tab (eg the chat tab) I still have to go to the jobs tab to clear the notification. So now my app is forever showing notifications for things I’ve already seen and I miss things I haven’t. Add in the flurry of promotional messages over Christmas, and since, and I’m considering quitting checkatrade completely.

Edit: thanks for your response. Please look at the feedback from other users; chat seems to be unwanted by many users. Meanwhile the ability to copy a customer’s phone number and paste it into WhatsApp or other apps was a useful feature that’s been removed (for example, I don’t use my main ‘phone number for business calls, I have a virtual number, so simply tapping the number in the Checkatrade app doesn’t work for me). As busy people, we want to keep our messages in one or two places or they can be overlooked. That’s not good for Checkatrade as customers will get a poor experience.
