Character Maker is an app that allows you to create your own pretty character or ideal type by coordinating with various hairstyles and clothes.

So cute!
I absolutely love this app! It’s so cute and also very diverse, would recommend it to anyone who likes making cute little characters! Amazing. However, it could be better, for people like me who have in app purchases turned off, it can be hard to create characters with cool and interesting designs without watching lots of adverts, I do understand that people have to make money to live and to make these games better for players, it can be done without purchases but can get annoying constantly watching ads for more interesting content
Love, but needs fixing!
Some of the colour palette options for clothing, etc. are shown as the same… until you select it and can see it’s something else.
Sometimes after an advert is finished, it instantly directs me to the App Store afterwards — in my case, a blank white App Store screen, because I’m NOT wasting data for something I’m not using! — and I have to close and reopen the app again, because there’s no return to app/close “App Store” option. So, I wasted my time and data, watching an advert for nothing, because it doesn’t give me the option to received the reward. Even after reopening the app, and watching an advert again, to get the reward, I frequently experience that repetitive cycle — usually 3 or 5, sometimes more! — until I’m able to get the reward, after an advert. I’d like to note, the adverts shown needs to be monitored for what’s suitable and what’s not, because I’ve seen some game adverts of animals being harmed and killed, and it’s was AWFUL!!! I’d hate for children to see them, because it’s horrendous!
Nice! But it would be easier to make custom stories if…
The only ads I’ve seen so far in are the corner of the character creator, so no annoying pop-ups! There are plenty of cute clothes and facial features to choose from, even when you’ve just started! You start with a decent amount of cookies which is nice! But…. Then there’s the studio. First of all, it’s kinda hard to make a story bc you have it keep going back to the home page if u wanna add a character or change the background. Also, the UI around the characters and the darkening when you select them is annoying I think it would be better if transferred to the side of the screen when you click the character. I find it annoying that there are no poses and it’s very hard to size stuff. I think I know how but I can’t grip the edges. I don’t like that you can’t completely remove the UI ok the screen.
