Description
CBAT Ready is the most comprehensive and specialized preparation app for CBAT and FAT tests.
Each practice test is derived from the official CBAT test (as of 2024). By following the same structure and layout found within these tests, you will be ready to step straight into the test room.
Tests currently available within the app:
- Numeracy
- Angles
- Speed/Distance/Time Part 1 & 2
- Directions
- Visual Search Part 1 & 2
- Instrument Comprehension Part 1 & 2
- Target Search
- Multitasking
- FLAG
Each test will show an instructions page beforehand which involves the aim of the test, the method of completion and time limit. When the game is complete, the user will be shown their score (Game Centre integration coming soon).
Test Guides are now available for each practice test. These aim to prepare you with instructions that apply to the real tests.

Great app, should really cover more areas of CBAT though to be honest, few issues though - some times the instrument comprehension gives duplicates of the correct answer, and also with SDT i dont think it accepts rounded answers as correct sometimes

I agree that more tests will be useful, I will be working on developing more in the near future. If you have any suggestions on what you’d like to see next then just let me know.
As for the bugs you’ve mentioned, I’ve released an update that allows for rounding of SDT answers. It also prevents duplicate questions being shown in the instrument comprehension tests.
Let me know if this works.
Nice Advanced CBAT
It has a nice selection of stuff where all of the skills come into one. And it’s actually fun. But there’s two things which is so annoying and that’s why I’ve rated it 3 stars
1: Some tests are NOT compatible with iPhone 14 and probably other type of phones. I can’t click back off a test, so I have to restart the app
2: You cant delete what you put. Too many times I’ve just typed in a latitude and longitude coordinate, but I’ve accidentally clicked on the wrong number and I cannot delete it so I cant restart it and then the round is screwed.
CBAT READY
I recently failed my CBAT a few months ago and I felt very unprepared and this was reflected in my score. The CBAT ready app has really helped me and I continue to utilise this app as much as I can. I would strongly advise anyone who is sitting the CBAT to use this app!
I have also spoken with the developer of the app and the responses and willingness to take feedback and implement new tests is great. The future of the CBAT READY app looks great and has so much potential I couldn’t advise it more.
