Description
The Milou 2.0 application is part of a scientific research project entitled 'Cost-effectiveness of a smartphone Application for Tinnitus Treatment: The CATT trial'. The project is financed by Research Foundation Flanders (FWO) and is a cooperation between Hasselt University (project lead), University of Antwerp, Antwerp University Hospital and the University of Regensburg. The principal investigator of the study is Prof. dr. S. Michiels (Hasselt University and Antwerp University Hospital). The study was approved by FAMHP and the ethical committee on December 6th, 2021 (Eudamed: CIV-21-09-037760).
The project aims to investigate the effectiveness and cost-effectiveness of the use of this smartphone application as part of a physiotherapy program. Currently, it is not possible to use this smartphone application as a self-treatment application. As the application is still under investigation, only participants who are enrolled in the study will be able to use the application.
