Cats are Liquid - A Light in the Shadows is a 2D platformer about a cat with the ability to transform into liquid.
The game has 90 levels, that are spread across 9 different worlds. It has a minimalistic but colorful style. Along the way the game introduces new mechanics, like flying and summoning bombs to break down walls.
The story is about a cat whose owner locked her in a set of rooms. She desperately wants to get out, but the rooms just keep continuing. Along the way the cat meets a new "friend" and gains new abilities. The story is told through small in game text pieces.

Must Try!
This is my second time playing, mainly because I love the game so much. It has both an interesting theme without a very complicated storyline to ensure that you can pick it up quickly, after all, it is forefront a game. The main character, Lumi, deals with very serious issues and the entire game poses the philosophical question of "Is forgetting your trauma better than having to just live with it?"
On the other hand, this game can also very easily be your chill mobile game you pull out on the bus. The game gets gradually harder and new pieces are introduced almost every room (what levels are called in the game). You gradually unlock more abilities and I think you'll soon become very fond of some of them. Realistically, there isn't a lot of thinking involved, but that has its own advantages. After you complete the main game, there's a prequel to this on the marketplace, there's a ton of little "extra" worlds (sets of levels) on this game as well and on top of that, there's a thriving community making "packs" for everyone to try out!
Even if you've never played a platform game, I urge you to try this one out, it was my first platform game and it still holds a place in my heart. This indie game deserves so much more love than it has gotten, give it a chance.
SO AMAZING!!
This game is soo addictive and it has a really mysterious/sad story (I won’t spoil anything). There are literally NO ADS and that is one of the biggest problems nowadays in games. The levels are very challenging in fun way!! Totally recommend this!! Told all my friends to download it!! Also writing this review after finishing Abp (a better place) which is also AMAZING!!! I don’t really normally write reviews but this is an AMAZING GAME!!!
A deep and yet not so deep game
This game encourages many different meaningful and hard-to-discuss topics:

-Suicide (a tiny bit)
-How to be truly happy
And a few others.
All through a charming game, a cute liquid in the shape of a cat, a LOT of monologue and the (AWESOME) fan base! Before you freak out about the list, trust me, it's subtle. It won't be too much or that scary, though TRIGGER WARNING! (Suicide + Death + Grief). It is quite a hard parkour/platform game and it has very 2D graphics but that is part of its charm. If you install this app right now, I promise you won't me disappointed; all you do have to remember though is to not give up!
