Castle Crush: Clash Card Games 12+

Idk why all these bad reviews are here, these are just people who clearly can’t play the game properly. I’ve been playing this game for years and I’ve always liked it, I’ve only recently came in to castle 8 though, I’m now over 3700+ trophies. This game is really about knowing all the cards you have, knowing what their strengths and weaknesses are. Placing them in the right place at the right time… all the other people in the reviews are saying that you need to pay if you wanna win etc and that they’ve spent money on the game and they’re all only castle 5/6. I’ve never spent money on this game and I’m still having fun. I got to admit though, sometimes when you start on a win streak they will put you up with someone who basically has a counter deck to yours… and when you lose that one they will keep on putting you with these people to bring your trophies down but that’s just how most games are so that you get a bit of a challenge. Sometimes it works to just restart the game and you’ll be matched with better people, that’s what I do. I’ve been annoyed at this game sometimes but I still really enjoy to play it.

You just gotta find a good deck that you like and works for you and when you see that you’re starting to lose, tweak it a bit, see what card could be added to make it less weak in a specific scenario.

This game is really underrated. I’ve been playing a little over a year now after my kids convinced me to try it. They lost interest pretty quickly but I’ve gradually unlocked cards and collected trophies having got to castle 8 in recent months. I have only one card left to unlock (Skeleton Queen).
I’ve spent exactly £0 on this game, if you’re patient you don’t have to spend any money. The piggy bank allows you to collect gems if you don’t blow them (I have 2200 now and have maybe spent 300 or so since I started playing).
It’s strategic and knowledge of the cards and how to use them is the key to winning more often than not. I love game mode of the day, Storm mode being my favourite. I’m convinced those moaning about it are unwilling to learn to play and just not very good at this sort of game. I would love to get a limited sticker from a tourney, that’s my eventual aim.

This game could easily be worthy of 5 stars however matches are certainly rigged, there is no way you can come up against almost identical decks time and time and time and time again that are designed to beat yours. This is clearly just a ploy to encourage you to spend money and keep changing your decks. This was bad enough but now the game resets trophies every season and they have introduced a forge so people can temporarily increase the power of their cards. Again this is just another ploy to encourage people to spend money and for those that don’t well you just lose battle after battle after battle.

I have a clan in the top 100 and now lots of my members are talking about quitting the game, some have already left. Such a shame that the owners of this game have succumbed to greed. If they hadn’t of taken this route they would have kept on gaining players and keeping players. That in turn would make them more money. But they have taken the fast greed route which yes will mean they will make money fast from people stupid enough to fall for it but it won’t take long before they loose lots of players and their reputation and therefore their precious money.

I just hope they get rid of the forge and balance matches fairly so they are based on skill. That way the game just might be saved and be worthy of 5 stars!
