Cardalis 12+

This is a good app to monitor respiration rate but I keep getting alarm telling me to contact vet even though rate is ok! Please fix this bug! Also being able to choose date and time for recording would be useful!

I started using this app to monitor my dogs breathing rate after the app I was using beforehand stopped working. All in all it’s a good app, simple to use and displays all my dogs readings on a clear line graph that can be easily emailed and printed.
If I could suggest a couple of improvements..... when viewing the graph sometimes it alternates between portrait/landscape view involuntarily which can be a bit annoying!
I think it would also be good if you could add readings from the past.... so someone like myself who is new to your app could add the old information and view it in the graph. I’m not sure why but I seem to be able to add data for future dates in the ‘preview’ screen ... maybe this could be reversed?

As others have said this app is very handy for counting heart rate and compiling this info into a table and graph for easy documentation. However this company has proven to be unreliable with this recent update. Luckily I sent my dogs list of heart rates to my vet about a month ago but everything since then has been erased with the most recent update. I don’t know how this oversight could be missed or deemed excusable. A simple notification alerting users to the new change could have prevented this. These data are crucial to guiding treatments and very likely life saving treatments, medications and interventions. This could be particularly detrimental to a new user with a recent heart diagnosis from their vet that isn’t sure what values would be of concern. All of a sudden apparent patterns and potential alarm bells have been erased. My vet recommended this app to me when my dog was diagnosed but I’ll be sure to tell them of this experience on my next visit.
