Cabin Escape: Alice's Story 4+

Decent for a free game even if it is a bit short.

What don't I like about it? Well, the graphics are 'acceptable' i.e. nothing special. Plus it's all a bit static (you can't scroll around a room, for instance, you just have one view and that's it). And the controls are a bit clunky - simply a back button and that's it.

Good things? Well, it's free obviously. Some of the clues are quite well thought out.

Would I buy the pay-for apps? I'm not sure, to be honest. I'd want to know that they were a lot longer than this free version and, judging by some of the comments, I'm not sure they are.

But, what's the biggest problem? That's easy...once you've played The Room series none of these other games match up to it in terms of graphics, 'story', playability, and general quality. You judge them all in terms of The Room and none, as yet, come anywhere near it.

A decent game but somewhat dated in feel compared to the best.

This is the one game that shocked me with its exceptional level of attention to detail and quality.

The graphics are good and the style of play is excellent. It seems as though a lot of time and thought has gone into this escape. All of the challenges are linked and relevant, they are thought provoking yet completable.

This game is free but only the one platform that is originally set in, further levels which are expected after leaving the main set do not exist.

It dos offer a continuation but leads you to another app which is at a price, if it was longer I would have paid it despite having the option of choosing other free apps of a similar nature but I cannot justify the cost with the amount of game play unfortunately!!

In summery, awesome game but lacks further content!!

I found the puzzles in this game challenging and variable, which I like and which can be said for the other escape rooms designed by this creator. However, some puzzles didn’t make sense eg ‘use hammer on box’ and some of the resources you needed to complete puzzles were so difficult to find eg the matchbox that I found myself blindly clicking in the end. About midway through I got stuck and needed to find a run through video to set me on my way again. I liked the game but I didn’t love it, I found it very frustrating at times.
