ByteSIM eSIM - Data Plan 4+

Ordered 10GB before I traveled to China in May, 2024. Had a little bit issue when I tried to activate the SIM after arriving. I contacted the customer service and got responded very soon. Problem was sorted quickly. The speed is fine in terms of accessing webs, apps and watching DouYin. It made my life much easier while I was in China as i could access WeChat, DiDi and in the meantime keep in touch with my friends in the U.K. via instagram, facebook and gmail. I definitely buy it again and also recommend to my friends.

I had problems with my order. I ordered on my account and it didn’t appear. I contacted support on WhatsApp and they were rude - even sending laughing emojis, like making fun of me, when it turned out that it had been sent to an old email when they eventually bothered to check deeper after I insisted they had my money an I had no sim. That wasn’t the email on my account either. The sim didn’t even appear in the account at any time. The system is flawed and the customer service is rude. The prices and packages may be more diverse than alternatives like Airalo, but at least their system is much smoother and support more professional.

Edit: I did receive an apology and a coupon afterward. They blamed their poor translation.

I used two ordered (Malaysia and Singapore). Both times the e-sim arrived immediately and installed and activated perfectly and instantly (before arrival, which is important so I have a working phone on arrival).

I paid for the unlimited 5G plans both times and my service was excellent and fast.

The cheapest options are only a couple of dollars so it’s very cheap I’m not surprised there are issues but for me it was perfect and I recommend.
