Very Useful in my practice
As an orthopaedic surgeon, I have used this since the first probe and it has constantly improved over the years . As I never used ultrasound before it has changed my practice. The image quality has continued to improve but still not comparable to bigger machines but more than good enough. Excellent for ultrasound guided injections and the biplanar view has blown away some of my colleagues who use ultrasound regularly. I live out of regions that they support but fortunate to still have a UK apple account so I update that way.
Very satisfied
I am a cardiologist and I use butterfly iQ in my office/outpatient . I am extremely satisfied with the image quality for heart and lung in most cases and it’s portability.
Just a downside is the absence of PW in cardiac preset.
Very poor
This is the biggest waste of money I have had in years. Poor connectivity, far from helpful customer service, automated response to emails, when they ask you for a feedback on their customer service and you give them 1 star, the system wouldn’t allow you to send the feedback. Now I stopped paying the annual subscription, the device is useless. Thinks twice before buying this! There are some great alternatives out there with no need for a hefty annual subscription.
