Version 9.4.2
Today we have another simply maintenance and bug fix update. We have some new features coming really soon, and this release is laying the ground work for those things. We will be back with a much more fun update for you all very soon.
Ratings and Reviews
Not bad
It’s a pain having to login each time app is opened before you can post a comment on news report. Would be easier if could stay logged in or use Touch ID to login.
Needs fixing
I’m very frustrated with this app. It should be worthy of a 5 star rating but lately I’ve noticed that when I tap on an article & start reading, I get half way through & it disappears. The app logo appears & I have to open the app & find the article & start again. Then the same thing happens again! I’ve got better things to do than get frustrated trying to read something that mysteriously disappears in front of my eyes knowing that I’ll only be wasting even more time trying to repeat the process. Please fix this annoying problem & I’ll be only too happy to adjust my rating & submit a more positive review.

As stable as a giraffe on a trampoline
Please could you add the contents of this app to the Apple News app as well because, quite frankly, this app is about as stable as a giraffe on a trampoline.
When it comes to actually using it it constantly & consistently crashes whilst its either updating &/or whilst its being used, thus making it almost impossible at times to actually read it contents.
It either needs a major overhaul, to be scraped completely & started again &/or to have its contents also ported directly into the Apple news app under the topic “Bristol Live” so that its contents can at least be read within a more stable environment.
