Conveniently control your hearing aids, adjust volume, and test your hearing.

The Boots Hearingcare app provides you access to enhanced hearing controls and personalization options for your Phonak and AudioNova hearing aid(s) as well as a host of rich functionalities to tailor your Boots Hearingcare hearing experience to your needs.
The Remote Control enables you to easily make changes to your hearing aid(s) to suit your personal preferences for various listening situations. You can easily adjust the volume, sound and various hearing aid features (e.g., noise reduction and microphone directionality) or select pre-defined programs according to the different listening situation you are in.
You can conduct a Hearing Test as a self-screening to check your hearing ability and save your results by creating your personal Boots Hearingcare Account. The Account will also empower you to book and manage your appointments and communication preferences. The Hearing Loss Simulator replicates what it is like to have hearing loss and use a Hearing Instrument to help you and your loved ones better understand the potential benefits of using a Hearing Instrument.
Remote Support allows you to meet with your hearing care professional through a live video call and have your hearing aids adjusted remotely (by appointment). Also finding your nearest Boots Hearingcare store is available at your fingertips - getting in touch with us has never been easier.
Finally, the Boots Hearingcare app allows setting up notifications such as cleaning reminders and provides a rich set of information about hearing health, including the in app instructions for use.
Boots Hearingcare is compatible with Phonak and AudioNova hearing aids with Bluetooth® connectivity and iPhones running iOS Version 15.0 or newer. Phones with Bluetooth low energy (BT-LE) capability required. IOS is a trademark of Cisco, Inc.
The Bluetooth® word mark and logos are registered trademarks owned by Bluetooth SIG, Inc. and any use of such marks by Sonova AG is under license.

Absolute nightmare

Just spent almost an hour trying to get the app to work. Not intuitive at all.
Firstly trying to register is really abysmal. There is no guidance on how to log your advantage card, just trial and error will get you there eventually. Then composing a password is not at all easy. It’s only when you get it wrong that it tells you the format to use!! Then when you eventually get it right it throws you out because the advantage card number isn’t compatible so you try a different format to then find out your password has been removed. So you try again only to go around in circles. Eventually I managed to register an account.
I next tried to link my hearing aids. Tried several times but only the right one would link up.
Have given up - there’s an hour of my life illegally not get back.
Utter rubbish.

Rubbish

I was asked to use this app but I am unable to. It asks for a customer reference but I don’t have one, so yet another triumph for Boots. I don’t know who writes your apps but they need to be a customer to experience just how rubbish Boots apps really are.

Just to highlight how bonkers this app is, once you are logged in, there is a section detailing how to install it! Surely even Boots realise that you must have done this otherwise how would you be able to read it.

Awful

Don’t give me messages about the danger of changing settings when the app logs you out at random and disconnects the Bluetooth at the most inconvenient and potentially dangerous of moments when I needs to changes mode

Always stay logged in. always connected. Split the commerce from the functional hearing aid control.
