Bloxels: Build Your Own Games 9+

Hey, this is a really great app so far, I wanted to create a game boy style game without having the limitations of the amount of pixels so this is ideal. I’m trying to create a story driven game and I wondered if you could make it so there is an option to make characters impassable when using speech boxes. I’ve tried making speech boxes on grass tiles but that only makes it look like my character is talking or the speech is too far away from the character. Would be a massive help and even adding character names to the speech marks would be awesome then there could be an exchange of dialogue and useful for game challenges like “go see Jane for a potion”. I love the character creation bit, very easy to animate a character!

I LOVE this game. I’ve played it for so long, and it’s GREAT. But there are a few things to be added, and one thing to be changed.
You DEFINITELY should get this game.
The things to be added, in my opinion, have been on my mind for a while. First of all, it would be great if you could make enemies drop coins and keys, I just find that it’s really annoying that you can always skip a battle.
Second, if enemies had ‘territories’. This would really help out in any exploring game so that lets say enemies from a fire area, can’t follow you into a icy area. Doesn’t really fit.
Finally, (for the ones I really just couldn’t cope without) extra damage. So enemies/player can do extra damage. Then boss battles will feel much more exciting than just making them big, with lots of health and a ton of minions. I personally, am starting to get frustrated without these. If there is some sort of way to get round these, PLEASE do tell.
A few things I think could just be added as suggestions. An optional death animation, teleports, staircases to other floors of the 3D layout, and a melee optional attack along with an animation option for it.
The one thing that could be improved, is that during the game, enemies seem to exit the map, which is really stressful, as you can miss important battles. If, again, there is a way to avoid this, please DO tell.

This is a great app for making games, wherever it be original or not, and at least your games don’t get taken down by Nintendo all the time! HUZZAH! Also, if any of the developers (hopefully) see this, let them know I also want these things added, I know that at the time of writing this, there was already a new update but-I DON’T CARE. These things include
- Optional Animations such as Death Animations, take for instance Bubsy 3D, even though Bubsy 3D……………is a game that exists, there were many death animations in the game, burnt to ashes, flattened, melted, etc, can there also be an option to do either only one death animation or many death animations just like Bubsy 3D, despite, again being…………..a game that exists.
- Different Abilities such as a Sonic-Style homing attack and roll, a punch and kick, and some other stuff.
- A Character Select, that’s also optional, and other stuff people make like.
