App and photos

It’s great having an app to provide commentary to lots of great museums/exhibitions. The problem is once you leave the app (ie to take a photo) then you need to restart the app from the homepage. It would be so much better if it can remember your last location in the tour so you can flip between apps.

Very slow and non-responsive

Please, we don’t need fancy but useless eye-candies. We only want the content to be shown in a reasonable amount of time. The app literally freezes every time after checking an object. Completely ruining the experience of learning in these marvelous museums.

If I can I want to give multiple lowest score reviews to this app. Now I can only avoid the museums that rely on this lab and only come back later to see whether there are some fixes.

Needs a lot of work

Like other reviews on here, I downloaded this to navigate our way around Yorkshire Sculpture Park. But every time I left the app (for example, to photograph a sculpture), I was returned to the main screen. I then had to navigate back to the guide each time.

For what it’s worth, when I was using the guide, it was really useful and full of interesting information about the art. However, I suspect this has nothing to do with the app developers, and more to do with the efforts of the sculpture park.

So, this needs work. If I didn’t have to continuously work my way back to where I wanted to be it would get a better review. But in truth, I stopped using it after an hour and didn’t bother with it again.
