Awesome for an app of this type
This app is absolutely awesome for something based on retrieving and showing data gathered from just a satellite general idea of where you are, a clock and a judgement of time. It’s made my rides more fun and shown me where I can improve my times and skills. I think the speedo is a little slow, but to be expected from its short range of given tools already on your phone
Amazing App, until it stops working 🙄.
It’s really hard to be too harsh on this App because it is so simple and so good as a stand alone ride tracker. I’ve used it for more than 2 years and when it works I think it’s the best out there. Useful relevant stats, easy interface, no clutter, you don’t have to share anything and it’s pretty accurate.
The problem is that it has a bug which the developer has no interest in fixing and which drives me nuts! When you have stored up historic rides totalling between 800 and 1000km the software becomes unpredictable, randomly stops recording and eventually just stops working altogether. The only way to fix this is to remove the app (and all of it’s data) and start again. I’ve done this exact dance 3 times now and it’s not the end of the world but it is very annoying (you never know when it’s going to stop recording 😳) and if you’re the type of person who likes to collect their data forever it might push you over the edge. Otherwise it’s cracking.
What’s happened
This app has been great since I started using it I’d clocked up over 550k on it. Now it’s suddenly started freezing, not longing rides etc. i don’t want to delete and loose all My data on it but it needs an update to fix the bugs badly and Soon !!! Would of been 5 starts but for this.
