Bazooka Boy 12+

I downloaded this game a couple of years ago and have played it ever since. However, after developing a bug a week ago (where the opponents suddenly appeared to have odd red hats), when trying to destroy them, huge brown grenades would spin in super-zoom and totally obscure the screen. I’m certain it’s not meant to be like that. Eventually, the game just would not play, regardless whether one closed down the game, restarted, or after rebooting the phone. It called for a total deletion and reload and now I have a new version, with the added joy of Hallowe’en backgrounds. And now the bug is back!!!… and the game is unplayable again. The same character, I now realise is a Hallowe’en character with red horns and a grenade. Terrible bug and the developers need to fix it.

The game is just angry birds but guns. The levels are simple but they don’t get super boring (at least for me). I don’t know if this was intentional but I bought the laser gun (final weapon aka most expensive) using the free in game currency and I used it for 1 level then unequipped it for the next one, after that level I decide to equip it again but find out that it’s missing it doesn’t say I can buy it or anything it’s just gone from the gun selection. And people complain about the ads which are annoying but i usually just play with WI-FI off.

This game could and very likely WOULD be super enjoyable. I played it like I was addicted for the first hour or so. Literally couldn’t put my phone down. Was too into this game…
And then the ads kicked in…. 🤦🏻‍♂️
I don’t know for sure but I’m pretty confident in saying that game developers get paid from their games mostly through advertisements. If that’s definitely true then I imagine that the company who developed this game are absolutely CAKED in doe.
Anybody remember ducktales? The cartoon about a trillionaire dick and his nephews(?) (I think they were. Can’t remember too well)
Well at the beginning of the cartoon we were greeted by a scene in which Scrooge McDuck was in his mansion and he took a dive from a very high board into his massive piles of gold coins and then proceeded to swim in them.
If adverts really do pay them I imagine that’s how these developers wake up every morning cuz the sheer amount of ads in this game are ridiculous. I’m not saying they have to pay well really. Even if they paid shamelessly small for their ads, there’s so many of them in this game that they’re still paying out mega bucks for them to be played.
I’d recommend not downloading the app just for that reason. Shame cuz it’s a good game too….
