Batman: The Enemy Within 17+

Firstly the game itself is great. Controls are decent enough on mobile although sometimes it doesn’t quite detect a swipe or press first time. The story is very well written and entertaining and you really feel like Batman/Bruce Wayne as you get into it.

Unfortunately, it’s let down by the terrible DLC management. You get the first episode for free and can then buy the rest for £15 which seemed very reasonable. However, when you make the purchase through the App Store, the purchased episodes refuse to show inside the game.

The only solution I’ve found is to uninstall the game completely, reinstall and then “reload purchased content”. This is easier than it sounds given it takes about 30 mins to download the initial game and then you’re forced to leave the download screen open for another 30 mins while it downloads a new episode. If you close the screen or the screen lock kicks in it pauses it... So you can forget downloading all the episodes at once or leaving them to download in the background. That’s assuming you can actually trick it into recognising your purchase at all.

I would expect this from an amateur “free to play” individual but not from Telltale Games. Who there thought this was an acceptable way of rewarding players who’ve paid them for extra content? Please sort it out (although reading the internet it’s something that’s plagued this game on many platforms for a few years now).

I love what you do with all the games I've played pretty much most games you make unfortunately some of the games including this one I would only play the first episode as I am still in school and don't have money for the next episodes so it's unfortunate that I won't play any more however this one is the most exceptional so far as I really enjoyed the story lines and I assume each episode is about a different enemy which means the story on each episode is long which I enjoy as like some others the episodes can be quite short which does make me question wether the rest will be short and I will pay all the money for a short story in total but this by far is the best I've played and knowing I can play on my phone instead of on the PlayStation as I use a family members play station for that but overall I would suggest to anyone who enjoys games that you don't do as much interaction but get choices etc ❤️

Amazing game absolute love it the storyline and gameplay is amazing the telltale game has really made me get back into the Batman DC universe I purchased all episodes for both Batman Telltale series and the Enemy Within I definitely recommend this game for all the Batman fans out there. I’m hoping they release the Batman Shadows Edition on IOS and a Season 3 Batman telltale series with the same voice actors and the same character looks if there’s a Shadows edition that gets released on IOS and a new season 3 Batman Telltale series I’m definitely purchasing without a doubt it’s a must need to purchase I absolutely need to purchase it like I said I recommend this to all Batman fans out there
