With Bank Austria’s MobileBanking app, Internetbanking you can now settle your banking business via smartphone whenever you want and wherever you are. Highest security standards and the option of biometric authentication protect your privacy for your daily banking.

• Financial Manager: Get a detailed breakdown and presentation of your income and expenditure.

• Order archive: Find completed orders in the order archive and convert them into a PDF at any time.

You need to make it EASY for people to use your wonderful new mobile banking app. If you forget any of the many security numbers you may not have used for months, you are then excluded at every stage of the sign-up process. I managed to download your app from the internet, and struggled through the set-up process. Then it suggested face recognition would be a good idea. Yes! But fatally you can’t have that unless you can remember your ATC. What is my ATC? What is it? Where would I find it? Can I change it to something I can remember more easily? How would I do that? Sorry guys, you have to do better than this.

Please excuse the late reply, the ATC (authorization code) is a 6-10 digit number that you specified when activating the app. You are free to choose the ATC, it just can't be your user number or your date of birth. If you no longer know your ATC and have a bank card from Bank Austria, you can reset and reassign the ATC yourself directly in the app. You can find the function under Settings > Security and Devices > Change or Reset ATC. If you do not have a bank card, please contact a branch, they can send you a new ATC. We also provide videos and tutorials (in German) on our homepage that explain the activation of the app in detail. We will be happy to call you to support you in activating the app or resetting the ATC.

Awful awful awful but have to choice but to use it
I’ve never know an app that needs so many updates and yet never gets any better. Not only are the updates annoying, then when you open the app 9/10 you get greeted with “online banking is down for 24 hours” or something similar. It’s a joke.
