Excellent tracker app
I’ve been using this app to track all aspects of having my son from when he was a baby (feeds/sleep/nappies/meds etc) to a toddler (milestones/illnesses) to a school age child and now in secondary school! I can record memories and achievements and look back anytime! I can log when he takes medicines and has appointments and vaccinations. I can make notes and record happy or sad times. It has become an invaluable tool for me! Highly recommend.
Really is as good as everyone says
Love this app. It is as useful as everyone says, really intuitive and thoughtfully designed so very user friendly, and so SO handy to have all the baby info together in one place. An example of how well thought out this is: the screen automatically turns to be right way up if the phone is upside-down. So unlike all the other one-handed stuff you're already trying to do, this makes it that tiny bit easier.
I wish the 24hour data could be reset to user preferences, or offer a 7am to 7am option, rather than midnight to midnight (who cares how much sleep they had one side of 12pm vs the other side: you want the whole night don't you?!) but when I emailed to ask if it was possible to change this, had an impressively quick reply. Not the reply I wanted, but it did come fast. And this is a minor gripe anyway, there's plenty of ways to add my own markers for time periods which matter to me and then you can see the info however you want to.
In practice, we've used it as a very immediate 'when was she last fed?(' tool, rather than looking for longer term trends. But it's all there if you wanted to do that.
I love this app. If you need a data gathering place for everything for your new kid, this really is it.
I can no longer recommend this app.
I used to recommend this app all the time but the developers have turned out to be beyond greedy. They increased the price from $5.99 for life to $5.99 per month for exactly the same functionality.
Judging by their heartless responses to people on Twitter, they claim that they needed to charge people because they couldn’t afford the free cloud sync anymore.
The app’s data itself is tiny though and yet they’re charging the same as a hard drive’s worth of cloud storage. They just want to milk their customers more. Probably trying to pump up their turnover artificially so they can sell the app and company or something.
