BABB 4+

This app brings crypto into everyone’s reach. At present, you can seamlessly purchase BTC and ETH and buy BAX, the app’s utility token, without the need to visit exchanges, which is very complicated. Babb is the exchange!

You can also donate to worthy causes with very very low costs. (COVID-19 are currently free of any fees at all) and much more of your donation reaches the intended beneficiaries.

All works great, is intuitive, smooth and seamless in the transactions I have performed.

I believe much more is in the pipeline regarding person to person money sending, ability to cash-out and other banking facilities.

Ok, it’s a great concept an idea and I’m sure the app has a very bright future. Just sadly it’s not a viable wallet for use yet, Babb still manually process transactions to wallets. When you send BTC or ETH to an external wallet, it can take days - and I mean days, sometimes refusing wallets that don’t fit their risk criteria (including a Coinbase wallet once). You normally have to chase up support to ask them to approve it so it’s then sent to blockchain. You can’t see transaction IDs to search them on etherscan or blockchain. Sadly I can’t use it as id like just yet, but maybe in the future, love the charity donation feature however . Thanks

Overall I am optimistic for the Babb team, right now though perhaps the product isn’t 100% ready for mass adoption.

Worth noting - you need to KYC in order to use the app.

Currently no financial services available - no lending / no APR - Until Babb introduce competitive financial services and a function to stake the $BAX token this unfortunately is just a nice looking (but very limited) crypto wallet. I’m not sure the average ‘banked’ person would use this app at this moment.
