Adverts on the pro version? Not ok
I have had this app for a couple of years or more now, and I use it all the time. It’s reliable and has a great file management system which does what I need it to. I paid for the Pro version, but for some reason, the last few weeks I have been blasted with advertisements, while I am trying to do my work. This is not acceptable, and as soon as I find an alternative app, I’m out.
An essential app…
I have had this brilliant on my different generation iPhones & Apple Watches for some time now. My other sound/voice recording app is the stock Apple voice recording app but AVR X PRO is always my go to choice when I want or need to make a sound recording. The UI and recording quality settings could not be easier to understand and use (my 4 grandparents all use AVR X PRO to record and send voice messages to all their grandchildren spread around the world). The very easy to use share recording by email function is really appreciated and used on a daily basis. I would definitely class this fantastic app as an essential communication tool to have ready and easy to use at a minutes notice. A big thank you to the developers for giving us this fantastic app.
Not the Pro version?
The dev has now added flashy banner ads to the pro version, even though customers paid not to have ads. I think this is the free version, uploaded to the wrong listing by mistake. There's a chance the other version is actually the Pro version.
As well as being covered in ads now, it's outdated. Basics like integration with Siri Shortcuts are absent. It used to be one of the best apps of its kind, but not anymore.
I recall there's also an issue with recording in one of the audio formats but I don't recall details. Might've been WAV.
