Excellent. Ignore naysayers.
The paid version works a treat and **free** Mac/PC app plays back sound and notes. This means no extra cost for playing back on your computer and, importantly, for sharing with others. Dispenses with visual sound wave graphic recording found in another app which to me mostly seems to be unnecessary, though useful if you want to highlight, trim out silences & irrelevant bits or move bits of soundtrack around. Most of the time you don’t need all that and simplicity as in AudioNote is more valuable.
Ability to export the audio to other apps would be useful (I may have overlooked this feature if it exists) and I can think of other bells & whistles. But most note-takers just want something as simple as will do the job, not something which encourages fiddling with extra controls when your mind needs to focus on what you’re recording.

Free app of the year?
This is the ONLY app, which is able to (almost) annotate pdfs and sync recording at the same time. It even reads annotations from preview and other applications.
I do not understand the complaints of other users… They are vague and comments such as "you cant do anything with it" tells nothing?
Anyways, I would consider buying full version as it is really cheap, but the fact is that it does not do much more and nothing useful to me. Some suggestions would be: equations! and i mean normal equations. Make it compactible with link back project for mac or allow for inserting and resizing images. Highlighting? Then I would buy this app for 6-10 pounds.
Someone in the payed version complained that it takes 1gb ram when running pdf… I think it is reasonable compared to the spead that it gives. Compare to any other notetaking apps(including ALL of them). Insert pdf and see how "nicely" you scroll down…
I have spent 10 hours today in search for right app. Tried all of the most expensive ones. And apparently I am sticking to this one...
