Description
ASIAIR is an intelligent wireless controller that includes the device and app. You can control all ASI USB 3.0 and Mini-series cameras, selected DSLRs/MILCs, and popular equatorial mounts. Also, you can handle more gears, such as EFW and EAF from ZWO. Just connect your phone or pad to ASIAIR WiFi and explore the universe.
ASIAIR has SkyAtlas built-in. It can handle almost all DSO and Planetary imaging tasks. Such as preview, plate solve, auto-focus, polar-align, guiding, plan (multi-target, mosaic), video recording, live stacking, post-stacking, etc. You can even share and chat with global Astro-pals.

Ratings and Reviews
A first class system
As I have got older I wanted to switch from my old heavy equipment to a new lightweight, semi-robotic system. The ZWO system suited my requirements. Not only can I take it on holiday with me but I am getting the best images that I have ever taken. The workflow provided by the ASIair via my iPad (once I understood it) has revolutionised my Astro imaging. The assembly takes me just 13 minutes (yes I timed it). Polar aligning take me 3-minutes on average. Target acquisition is precise as is the autofocus system. The only thing it is missing is an adapter plate on the telescope handle system. It would also benefit from a tool to help my arthritic hands tighten the knobs that hold the scope on. I am extremely happy with it all and cannot recommend it enough.
Completely streamlined my workflow
I LOVE my ASIAir Pro, and the accompanying app is great. It has all the features you need to run and automate your acquisition, and ZWO are doing a fantastic job of adding fantastic new features regularly. They’re also VERY responsive to feedback, a couple of my suggestions for additional features have been added in the update following my suggestion.
This app makes my nights capturing images a joy compared to what it used to be when struggling to learn and use multiple apps/programs.
This is all with the caveat that you need to be well within the ZWO ecosystem for full functionality - but that’s really not a problem with me because ZWO make fantastic and affordable hardware. This is similar to why I love apple products, they work so well together!

ASIAIR v. 2.0 is a great update
I have been using beta versions of the v2.0 release for a couple of months and I really like it! All the little issues I had with the previous versions seem to have been addressed, such as intermittent guiding failures, EAF auto zoom would gradually deteriorate over a plan session or when changing target and the old release would often fail to recognise USB connected cameras (main or guide camera) and the EAF.
There are a raft of new and improved functionality such as ability to plan and create mosaic images in the much improved sky atlas, cleanup of user interface leaving more screen space for the image, guiding calibration also seems to work much better than in the 1.9.x release.
I have not tested the Wi-Fi performance, but my wired Ethernet connection has been excellent with this release.
Excellent work by the entire ZWO team!
