Well-executed take on the classic Battleships board game
A decent land-based version of the original “Battleships” game which doesn’t try and force adverts or in-app purchases upon you.
There’s not much else specifically like it on the App Store, so give it a go at least!
Pacing can be a little slow - it takes a while to build up your artillery in the initial stages - which may put some people off at first... but it’s a great little time filler overall if played in short bursts.
My only other real complaint is that the Artillery Strike random shots include squares you’ve already hit previously.
But other than that, winning a game is hard but satisfying and will keep you coming back to play.
Would like to see the developer make a sci-fi game like this.

Not bad actually,more entertaining than the original game.

It’s not a bad little game. It is as it says,a battleships redevelopment. Not mind blowing but not taxing on the mind either.
Why three stars.
Well, the first time we come across a female character as a war correspondent which is great, I thought it was rather lame they had her wearing an open top jacket gesturing being endowed all the while referencing if she looks okay with her hair as it is in a war zone.
It’s degrading to women and lowers the standard of the campaign story feel.
