Check it’s not a system installation error

I initially had problems with the app crashing but the problem turned out to be due to incorrect control system installation. Customer services / training manager very helpful in resolving the problem.

App V4.7

It would appear that App V4.7 has an issue. It was rolled out to my system on the 22nd of Dec 2020 (who rolls out software just before Christmas I ask you a recipe for disaster.) Since then my heating scenarios have all stopped working. I have tried using the template scenarios no luck. I’ve tried deleting the App and starting again no luck. I’m reduced to manually turning the heating up each day.

I have now also tried a factory reset of the cube. No luck. I’ve had no luck with the technical department. Ariston thermo are not telling them there is even an issue. I’ve also emailed Mr Findik the ceo but he has not responded to me either. Pretty poor show I think.

Update: This issue has now been solved. The issue was that the boiler time clock switch was set to timed. I’m fairly certain it has not been changed so can only assume that the new version of the app treats that input differently. I.e it allows the time clock to take priority over the cube. The technical manager and service manager did work hard over the weekend in the end to fix the issue. It’s just a shame that it took some extreme actions on my part (looked them up on linkedin) to get them to talk to me.

App keeps crashing

We’ve had our boiler for a while now and, fence ylu the app keeps crashing. Tells us to hit refresh but nothing happens. We haven’t change Wi-Fi and, we haven’t touched our boiler. We’ve tried logging out and back in, uninstall and reinstall but still doesn’t work.
It’s now winter and we haven’t been able to set our boiler correctly for days. Today is first day the app has decided to work.
This isn’t on you need to update this app or find the bugs in it to stop it crashing. Like I said nothing in our house has changed so this app should work all the time but it doesn’t.
