Description
Anavasi mapp is an easy-to-use offline map viewer for all Anavasi hiking and touring maps.
• Anavasi mapp uses your device's built-in GPS to locate you even when you are out of range of a network or internet connection.
• Find your location directly on the map, by pressing the button on the bottom right.
• You can enter your own points with a description or a photo.
• Proposed routes appear on the map with a color corresponding to the degree of difficulty: easy, intermediate, demanding and very difficult trails are colour-coded as green, blue, red and black respectively.
The level of difficulty is influenced by factors like elevation changes, length, type of terrain.
• In case of emergency, there is a button that automatically creates an SMS with the coordinates of your location.
• The maps are available as in-app purchases through a built-in store.
The names and coverage of the digital maps correspond to the printed Anavasi maps.
The digital maps are a supplement to the printed ones and do not substitute them.
Anavasi mapp mobile application and the Anavasi maps it uses are created with the highest degree of accuracy possible. However, Anavasi editions cannot be held responsible for any damages due to errors or omissions.

Customer Service
Having grown up with the gold-standard Ordnance Survey maps in Great Britain (it’s about the only thing which is great about Britain), I’ve found Greek maps to be a bit hit-and-miss. However where there are issues, the Anavasi team have been unfailingly helpful in resolving problems (not that there have been many). The Anavasi app has proven to be great when out walking. Many thanks!
Slightly tortuous but useful
I’ve used a variety of mapping apps and found this to be less intuitive than some. I bought it for the Menalon Trail as their website linked to it. And the first thing is that “Menalon Trail” isn’t an entry - you have to search for “Menalo” 🙄
And while the underlying map is customisable, none of them really hit the mark - the tracks on the trail map aren’t really shown, so it’s less useful than it might have been
Having been negative, there are some significant positives. It’s very useful that it works without a phone signal, as the signal here is often non-existent.
Very useful app
I had a problem with the app crashing. Contacted the app developers who responded with a fix within an hour or so. App is very useful and for those in the uk it is similar to the ordnance survey app. Really useful for making sure you are where you think you are!
