Please note:
Walls, vehicle roofs, tall buildings and other obstructions can block line of sight to GPS satellites. To improve the accuracy, make sure that you maintain a clear view of the horizon in several directions. GPS accuracy varies depending on the number of visible GPS satellites. Locating all visible satellites can take several minutes, with accuracy gradually increasing over time.

Great app
If what you want is a simple, nicely designed app to show you your altitude with no other distractions or unnecessary information, look no further - this is it. The only improvement I would suggest, is for it to be released for iPad. It would make the perfect addition to a car navigation app like Magic Earth, in Slide Over form. Hope that’s not too much to hope for?!
Where’s the Sea…?
There’s something reassuring about knowing one’s altitude at any given time, especially if you’re like me and can’t swim…🤭
Not as accurate as advertised
Tested the app on the ground floor outside the block of flats and 5 floors up on the balcony. There was no difference in altitude reading even though I swiped up the app to fully close it and reopened it again.
The app states that the altitude reading variation can be 1-3m but I went much higher and it still showed same reading.
