Ratings and Reviews
Great App; Shame GP’s Don’t Know About It!!
I think this is an absolutely fantastic app! It has some really great features built in that are perfect for the way the NHS is going - where it falls short is from my experience dealing with 2 GP practices and several community services (all using TPP SystmOne) that none of the GP’s know anything about it.
I had a conversation with a GP who happened to be the managing partner and asked him if he could see the various BP/Glucose readings I’d logged throughout the month and he had no clue what Airmid was, how to enable it on their system or how to access the records. He had no clue it was possible to message through the app, log your own data, complete questionnaires etc.
Basically, this app has so much potential but TPP really need to work with service users to encourage as many as possible to embrace the technology and features and set them up properly!
Long time user
I’ve had this app for years even before the surgeries got on board with it. It’s come a long way and only is as good as it is used by surgeries but nowadays I think it’s the norm as surgeries were told to get on board with modernising and moving away from records being “DOCTOR’S records” when in fact they’re patient records that doctors have privileges accessing. I have had critical illness and therefore it’s important I have access to my records and I use the messaging function to communicate with my GP instead of calling- I’ll add a note for her and she’ll get in touch and respond! Obviously that’s GP specific. I like that I can see consultations, check referrals are made, see old notes and immunisation dates. This denotes the need for paying for access to your own records for medical etc. Obviously use with caution in terms of sharing information! Love this app.
Only suggestion is; that it imported your information from apple health or watch etc
Far too many glitches - would be 5 star if worked.
First of all I should stress that I love the potential of what this app can do. It is packed with features that would be super helpful if the app worked properly. Was this beta tested before release? The most annoying but obvious glitches are frequent and unexpected app closures which dump you back to your phones home screen and forces the user to reopen the app and login with the password (especially when trying to order a repeat prescription I eventually gave up and reverted to the System One website), app notifications that will not dismiss even after pressing dismiss all and the inability to use Face ID to secure the app resulting in the user having to login with a password (Is the app may be using an older protocol to enable Touch ID login that is not compatible with Face ID login? as I have this issue with an app my company uses that the devs haven’t updated in years).
On the whole this will be a great app once all the bugs are worked through and local GP clinics choose to implement all the features.

The app notifications in general can be dismissed but we have put in a permanent notification for COVID-19 advice. We want this information to always be available to our users therefore cannot be dismissed.
