Description

The RME ADI-2 Remote App is a remote control for the RME ADI-2 Series. The device needs to be connected to the iPad via USB.

Settings are transferred from the device to the remote when the app is started and can be conveniently adjusted there. A special editor allows access to all EQ presets.

With the file functions of the iPad, setup files and complete EQ preset sets can be saved or transferred.

The remote requires firmware version 80/59 (FPGA/DSP) or higher for the ADI-2 DAC, 266/122 for ADI-2 Pro and 71/36 for ADI-2/4 Pro SE

Definitely interesting

I like the idea of this app because doing the eq from the device can be tedious. However I connect my PC to my RME via the USB port so unless my motherboard has optical out which it probably doesn’t I don’t really see how I can adjust and test settings. It means in future designs there will hopefully be Bluetooth connectivity for an app such as this or multiple usb connectors.
