abillion - better social media 4+

Heard about abillion from the PETA website and was intrigued about the fact you could ‘earn’ money to donate to animal welfare charities and sanctuaries by adding reviews of vegan foods and products you’ve purchased. I couldn’t believe it was so simple; what’s not to like?! I’ve been on the app for only a short time and have already donated to several of my favourite NPOs as well as the organisations and sanctuaries listed by abillion. In addition, I’ve found some amazing food and clothing brands I was previously unaware of; which was great because they have already been tested and reviewed! Highly recommend this app!

How is this free? Everything about it is great. Awesome interface, easy to use, tons of reviews, you get a dollar to donate for each review you make, great for socialising with other vegans, and not just reviews of products and dishes but also tons of tips and tricks. The support team is excellent, I had a small issue with my location displaying incorrectly and they fixed it right away and were so kind and helpful. One of the best downloads ever.

Edit after half a year of use: I stand by everything I’ve said. This app is simply precious.

The app it’s self is wonderful. Very helpful and I really did enjoy it. I didn’t enjoy some of the community though. If you’re vegan, everybody will be amazing to you and there’s no problems at all. But if you’re vegetarian, pescatarian even a meat eater trying to transition to vegan or discover more recipes/products, there can be a lot of criticism when you post. I really wish some of the people on here would be more mindful and accepting of someones journey to being vegan. Of course you get this on any app, anywhere- but in a community with many people with the same/similar good values, I would’ve thought there would’ve been some space for kindness to others as well.
