Aarogya Setu is a mobile application developed by the Government of India which connects the various essential health services with the people of India. The application is playing a crucial role in our combined fight against COVID-19 and now, has evolved as the National Health application to serve the people of India in an exemplary way. The application has come up with an intuitive User Interface and comprehensive features such as ABHA (Health ID) creation, discovery & linking of health records to enable longitudinal digital health records, Simplified Consent Management for sharing these records, and a Seamless Search feature to find Nearby Hospitals, Labs and Blood Banks.

Aarogya Setu : utility in India.

AS is a very good app, however it is Extremely limited in India due to limitation of the app on smartphones only!
While more than 75-80% population holds with it only mobile phones and many of those who have these Smartphones with 3-4G wifi , don’t know how to use it, don’t care to use it ,will not download it and finally are not honest about their symptoms!!

Whoever made this app is amateur.

I am writing this as I am livid with the performance of this app. Following are the issues we all are facing right now and which need to be addressed immediately
1. Why the login period is for few seconds if you go out from theApp you need toLogin again for which you need OTP.
2. Why there is no information when the slots are going to open you need people to be around wasting their own work timings.
3. Why don’t you send push notification when the slots are available according to Pin card and nearest vaccination centre centre.

Excellent App

Aarogya Setu App is excellent to track how Covid cases are progressing by state. As cases stabilise and start coming down, it gives us confidence that the virus is coming under control. The App has all the information required for vaccination and how many have been vaccinated nationally and by state. The more people use this App, the better.
