New design is terrible (fixed)

The new design forces you to open every article to read and decide if you want to read it all. Previously each menu picture would have its text title making it quicker and easier to decide if you wanted to read the article

Apologies, the text is back, it must have been a short lived bug

A new clunky and user unfriendly experience

With this new update, users are limited to either a paid ad-free experience or to be redirected to safari to read the article. In my opinion, this makes this app useless to casual users. I’d have no issues with embedded ads within the app if it meant that this app was no longer a bulky platform to redirect users to the website version. Or, at least make it so there are fewer button clicks. Once I’ve clicked on the article I want to read, scrolled to open it in the browser and consented to cookies I’ve lost any interest in reading.

The appeal of the app previously was that it had informative articles at your fingertips. Now it’s a clunky mess.

No search button?!

A good app with a nice dark mode. But there doesn’t seem to be a search button. It would be nice to have the option to filter down a list of news by topic type.
