Great, quirky fun
Let me say first of all that to like this game you have to like frustration, back tracking, crafting, pet capture and care, dying and detailed quests from novel NPC types... and great soundtrack, excellent customisations and no locked in character types... it IS a big challenge but incredibly rewarding when you find that shortcut, flip that switch, earn that ability!!
Oh and an integral CCG that is fun... and a fishing mini game!
If you tick all the boxes, this is the game for you. If you want a casual idle JRPG then look elsewhere!
To think this amount of detail comes from a tiny UK dev shop, is amazing. I can honestly say this is the first time in an RPG for an age, I have read the story text. Most times it is skip, whatever, but you have to read the details here to help out the NPCs.

Unique
I like how this series has consistently evolved, a lot of PC games have less changes than this between sequels . The graphics give it a rustic feel but it has plenty of depth. While quite different to Exiled Kingdoms I imagine it would attract the same sort of player, people who care more for gameplay than graphics.
A classic
Awesome game with hours of gameplay, dungeon exploring, magic, variety of weapons and you can build your own specialised team, highly recommended.
