Ratings and Reviews
Nearly perfect
Lovely interface, and good functionality. Would get 5 stars if it were possible to log in to a Windows 10 (SMB) server. A lot of apps have this issue, but then others, eg Player Xtreme don’t, so it must be fixable.
Limitations not obvious
There are 3 8player apps, Basic (?), Lite and Pro. Although it doesn’t say it anywhere in the descriptions, but the both non-pro versions have been crippled in so far that they only give access to the first 5 files in a folder, the rest are locked out, so basically not fit for purpose. It should be clearly stated as to what limitations exist, then you know if you'll have to stump up the money for the pro version to get full functionality.
Other than that it seems to work during the very little use I made of it.
Wrong price
I dont understand I paid £7.79 for pro version and price is £4.99 more then price, somebody can me explain that
