1 Second Everyday: Video Diary 4+

I’ve been using this app since it first launched so I have now been recording 1 second everyday for over a decade. I love it and can’t recommend it enough, I love being able to watch my kids grow and change, life change… so many forgotten moments come back to life when you watch it back and unlike with photos with this video you hear laughing or singing or just the rain falling down etc you can really catch those little moments in action. A one second clip may sound like a small amount of time and you may wonder if there is any point… there definitely is, it shows a surprising amount in a 1 sec snippet but the pace of change when it’s mashed together and you’re watching it back means no matter what you record it’s never boring it keeps you hooked every second (literally) I’m a pro user… and honestly I never pay for apps… except this one! I now, since it’s introduction in a update a while back also use the freestyle option for holiday videos or special occasions etc as well as the “daily diary” because it’s very easy and simple to use and does exactly what I want (I’m not a tec savvy person so that’s great for me) It really is a brilliant app that I highly recommend! Thanks for the decade of memories 1SEC and I’m looking forward to making more in the decade to come

I really love this app, it’s been a really wonderful way to document my young family’s life. But... the last couple of updates have been irritating. Sound is a bit hit and miss in the app, and the video resizes itself so it doesn’t fit the screen. If I click the mash all and then orientation buttons then it usually resolves itself, but it’s a pain. I contacted them about it and they responded very quickly, but only to say I should close the app and turn off my phone... It didn’t help. However the latest update is really irritating. They’ve always had branding at the end of the video, which is absolutely fine and I’ve been more than happy with that given I have the app for free. But now it’s also in the corner over all the snippets and just feels intrusive. Paying for pro feels expensive - I recently went pro for a really amazing video editing app that has an incredible music list, filters galore, neat transitions and effects and the ability to edit clips together, and it was a third cheaper than 1SE, and that’s when 1SE is on sale. I feel like I’d be paying almost £30 just to remove the branding. Not happy.
