在中國傳統習俗中，孝道的最後展現便是治喪，佛教中教導在先人往生後每一個七天都要為亡者做功德，冀望以此功德能令亡者往生善道，除此之外亦有百日、對年與三年這些祭拜日，這些日期是以中國傳統農曆來計算日期，現代人沒有農曆的概念，難以計算這些日期，作七百日對年日期計算機便是針對這些日期所生的計算機，只要輸入亡者的往生日期，就可以推算出所有的忌念日。
功能：
