One of Europe's best culture radio stations is now on the iPhone. This will move your homesick Austrian heart to tears if you have, like me, lived abroad for a long time.
This application has some well designed features and above all, works. Further information on programmes and personalised calendars, as we are used to now when listening via a browser, add a new dimension to radio in your pocket. I wonder if 'enhanced editions' will come to this medium one day - why not have more links, image galleries, additional and related content...
OE1 was one of the first things I looked for in the app store when I got this phone, but this will (currently still) not return a result in the search. This should be rectified soon, so others don't miss out on home from home. When I turned it on first, I expected it to auto-start and the play button isn't very inviting. This could be added as a setting maybe.
