Key Cards GCSE AQA Science Bundle 12+

I have been using the maths key cards since my y10 mocks back in may/June 2019 and it’s amazing then not to long ago I found their was ones for all 3 sciences and they are stunning, everything you need to know in your pocket. Would definitely recommend to anyone and especially if you are studying for your GCSEs !!
If the creator is reading please make more for subjects like English language and literature. These are amazing !

Throughout Year 11 for the Summer 2022 GCSEs, this app has been the most useful for helping me with revision for the sciences (I received grade 9s for all separate sciences this year for reference).

It’s straightforward with wording, available offline and easy to access. The “Cards to Review” feature has been the most helpful when it comes to last minute revision as it shows all the cards you got wrong, AS WELL AS the cards you got correct recently, however got wrong previously. Most apps completely discard cards you got correct, regardless of if you messed them up previously or not, however, these apps don’t. As well as this, even those you got correct will show up 2 weeks later so you won’t forget the information. This is the best example of spaced repetition I’ve had (which is a very simple yet effective way of revision).

As the cards are so accessible, it’s been a great asset to me when I’m running late to school or need to fit in some last-second revision before going to sleep, because year 11 is definitely a tiring year. It also brought up a LOT of content that in-class revision/lessons never taught; this app is great for filling in missing gaps of knowledge. Of course, I would recommend using this app ALONGSIDE revision in school in order to fully maximise your potential.

The hardest part of science is applying the knowledge and theory that you have learnt to scenarios that the exam gives you; the scenarios this year were completely different to the ones from papers from previous years. With Biology and Physics especially, cards with scenarios on them make clear and coherent links to concepts within the AQA specification that many people in my class, including myself, never understood. From sitting the exams this year, those cards definitely helped me with the 6-marker scenarios.

Although the price may be a deterrent to most people, wouldn’t you want to pay less than £5 for all 3 sciences than over £20 for them? I’ve been a massive advocate for these cards since 2020 since everything went online and many resources just weren’t accessible. Totally worth the price.

A big, big, BIG thank you to the people that have developed this bundle of apps (especially with the cards on metabolism for Biology and the National Grid for Physics). They carried me so much during these exams. I hope everyone finds out about these cards soon.
