Description
There are few clinical decision support tools available for OBGYNs. Those that exist remain web-based and have little value beyond gestational age or Bishop score calculation. To compliment our WUSM OB GUIDE, we introduce the WUSM OB CALC, which provides instant clinical support for five common areas:
1) Determining a patient’s success rate for VBAC
2) Determining the risk for Down syndrome based on the presence of ultrasound markers
3) Management for pregnancy of unknown location
4) Body surface area calculation and methotrexate dosing
5) Intrauterine growth restriction calculation and management
As with the WUSM OB GUIDE, the data to support these models are evidence based and are drawn from the literature and expert opinion. Ultrasound technicians, triage nurses and providers of ALL levels will find this tool useful, not just in OBGYN but also in emergency medicine.
