You can convert .csv to .plist. Just follow these steps:
1) Add a .csv file to the window.
2) Then choose which plist format you want to export it as (XML plist, json, or binary plist). 3) Then save.
You may be confused because the export format lets you choose from XML plist or a binary plist. A plist can use either format but its still considered a plist. When you save, it will save a file with the .plist extension and you have then converted a csv to plist.
NOTE: If you choose xml it will save with the .xml extension ONLY IF you have the "Preferred filename extension when converting to xml property list format" set to xml in Settings. If you have this set to xml in Settings, to export with the plist extension you can either:
1) Change the preference to 'plist' in Settings
or
2) Type the .plist extension at the end of the filename in the "Filename on export" text field.
or
3) Save the file with the xml extension and just rename the file in Finder and change it to the .plist extension, since the data in the file is the same either way, changing the extension manually will work.
