Description

Moveit is an application that makes it possible to track public transport delays in cities such as Gdynia, Sopot, Gdańsk, Rumia, Reda and Wejherowo, as well as in communes such as Gmina Żukowo, Gmina Wejherowo, Gmina Kosakowo, Gmina Szemud, Gmina Koleczkowo, and other areas served by ZKM Gdynia. A project set up by students from Gdynia Technical High School and a student from Warsaw Technical High School, Moveit is an expression of their commitment to making everyday mobility easier.

The app's premise is to provide information about delays while respecting users' privacy, making it accessible to everyone. The creators intend Moveit to serve users in cities and municipalities, with plans to expand to the Warsaw area and other cities in the future.

The application has been carefully developed, with an emphasis on speed and clarity of interface. If bugs or suggestions are found, the Moveit team encourages contact at mateusz@moveitapp.pl, promising to address the issue immediately. The aim is to continually develop and adapt the app to the needs of users, so that it suits everyone and is useful for everyday use of public transport.

Moveit is an app that won recognition by taking third place during Hackathon 2022 organised by the 17th LO in Gdynia. This unique accolade confirms the innovation and value of the project, which was created by committed students.

In addition, Moveit raised a total of 1,500 PLN in 2022 thanks to the support of the community through a dropbox. This financial success is proof of the active support and trust the app enjoys among users. With these achievements, Moveit is evolving as a project developed in collaboration with the community, with the intention of constantly improving and adapting to users' needs.

Moveit is not only an innovative app, but it has also gained recognition on a local level. Our project has been recognised by the Gdynia Open Data, which is an important acknowledgement of our work. In addition, articles about Moveit were featured on the gdynia.pl website, demonstrating that our project has been noticed by the local community and city authorities.
